Take a look at the EBAY auction Jeff just listed. It's for an old Reciprocating saw that I thought would be interesting to some of you collectors. I donated it cause I thought someone else would apprechiate it more than me and the money goes to a good cause.

I did and it makes my mouth water, even thogh I'm not a collector.
Did you see the video of Chet running Jeff's reciprocating saw? That thing cuts better than one would imagine.
'Course, Jeff had a professional operator to show it off. :D :D
They are cool. I have one just like it, hanging in the mill building. 8)
I have got the original owners manual for mine. Its pretty cool, even has instructions in it for building a bridge and a cabin and furniture and a raft!
Forgive my ignorance, but I've not seen a saw like that. Is it operating essentially like a Sawzall? Does it vibrate like a Sawzall?
Very kewl, Stumpy! 8)
Sorry, I do not know. I have never tried to start mine. I guess I could take it to the saw shop and have it be operated on to find out. ;D
You got me on the paper work, Jeff.
Yep, kinda like a saws-all. I just scanned in all the pages to the owners manual and started a new thread in the chainsaw section with links.

It does operate like a sawzall, but there is absolutely no vibration. It is very smooth in the cut, unless of course ya git it stuck. :D
That's just plain cool. 8)
I don't know if I can go the distance, but I got the ball rolling.
So, what happens when you get it stuck, Chet? ???
Well, if yer filming the event, Chet gets real blurry. :D
