morning everyone, I am doing up a quote for a large urban sawmill job.
I believe I will have 30,000 lbs of wood to haul to the kiln.
How much weight will I have to haul after it is dry.
It is White Oak.

Using numbers from the DKOM and assuming dead green, you have about 5.52 mbf. At 8%, it would weigh about 19,640 lbs.

Typically, green white oak lumber will lose about 35% of its weight during drying to 7% MC.  So, I would estimate 19,500 pounds.
