Title: Internships??
Post by: jesshowalte on July 06, 2022, 04:27:30 PM
I am currently pursuing a degree in forest resource management at Virginia tech and I am looking for opportunities to gain more experience in the field. I have an internship at the state department of forestry in Virginia this summer and I am absolutely loving it. I was hoping to apply for another internship next summer, but I would love to do it in the midwest or rocky mountain or pacific regions to see/work with new trees. Does anyone know of summer internship opportunities in these areas? Thank you!

Contact the USDA-Forest Service. There are National Forests in all of those areas of interest and the USFS takes on many interns from the various forestry schools. Discuss your desires with your school consular.
