Electrostatic precipitator for wood stove?

Anyone have experience or opinions about electrostatic precipitators for wood heating? I did a quick internet search and found a company in Georgia that makes one, as well as a Swiss company. I haven't inquired about cost yet, but I'm wondering if these are in use in areas with air quality constraints.
