hello, we are located in Bolivia and to get a concession you need to apply for an area indicated withst GPS location points and with a program together with a satelite program you need to print the area and although these photos somewhat outdated it immediately gives a clear indication if there is a forest and the structure of the forest. So this satelite issue is common practice and I am not talking about FSC or something, just ordinary logging in Bolivia...
