They don't give any information on where the queen lays the eggs and where the pupae are raised.  In a normal hive that happens in the comb.  In a hive like this it would kill any that were in the comb when the bee keeper goes to drain the honey.  I am sure they have a way to deal with it, they just don't show that information anywhere.

That would be in the brood chamber .  A queen excluder is used above that  and the  honeysupers are on top of the queen excluder
