Any one own the woodland mills blade sharpener? I'm kicking around buying one just wanted some info before I make the purchase.

If you do, post up on how it does. I had look at them too!

After reading this thread I wanted to see the sharpener. I clicked on a VYSales.com how-to-sharpen-your-blade-fast-easy-efficiently link that came up in a Google search. The site appears to be compromised, and I was immediately hit with Maleware. One of those fake "your computer has been affected contact us to repair it" varieties. Fortunately I run very robust antivirus software so it was not an issue. If this is a legitimate site hopefully they will fix it, but in the meantime click carefully.

I'm going to watch this thread.

Does this sharpener not have a cooling bath pump?

deadfall there is no cooling bath

So, do you see that as much problem?  Is this why it's slow?

All I know is, I liked what I got for about $1500 thirty years ago (sharpener and setter), but that ship has left the W-M dock.

So, no cooling bath is not an issue?  It doesn't need one?

I see there is a video.
