Title: ebay AUCTION to support our forum
Post by: sprucebunny on December 26, 2005, 10:06:30 PM
Hey, everyone !!!

We have another auction going on ebay  8) 8)

This one is for a set of four glass mugs that have the Forestry Forum logo etched on them.

Here's the link

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7207312733

These are great glasses and a fine reward for your support of the Forum. They were custom made for this purpose and at this time, there are only 3 sets of 4 in the whole world ;D

Bid often and bid high :D

I will have to warn any bidders, if that Mississippi roofer decides he wants this item, you will have to take out a second mortage to out bid him. I speak from experience. ;D Of course he may have spent most of his money on a certain CD. ;)

Ck, if you do not join in where will the fun be then. ;)  I think half the fun is just bidding against everyone else here and the other half is helping support the Forum. :)  Oh yeah getting the item is the thrid half. :D

There is more to it then that.  twenty year old system before it began to have problems. To many trees and two many people abusing it lately.

A quart of their great, awesome, stupendous, over the top, exceptional, grade A, number one, made especially for the Forestry Forum, PURE MAPLE SYRUP! 8)

I'll start that auction Sunday so it can end on a weekend. I have a great photo I took today of the Little Stump Jumpers proudly displaying the jar of Syrup.  :)

Now, not to want to be a pain in the bottom, but here goes...

Ebay has restrictions on listing foodstuffs. The restrictions can be read HERE (http://pages.ebay.com.au/help/policies/food.html)

May I humbly suggest the Boss has a quick look at this before listing to ensure compliance.

The worst that'll happen is they'll pull the auction off ebay...

Therefore I suggest one of the following:

1: It's made a Fast and Furious one day auction to hopefully slip under the radar...

2: If it's deemed not do-able, we have an inhouse auction and set a time limit and an auction thread and everyone bids on here...

3: We just simply ask CK what he's gonna pay for it and send it to him...  ::)

4: Ya just send it to me and be done with it.  (I like this option best).   ;)

Sorry to be a wet blanket, but I thought it best to check.

asy :D

Sprucebunny says " there are only 3 sets of 4 in the whole world "

Where will the other two sets be located? (out of idle curiosity)   ???

They sure look impressive and distinguished.  The future collector will have to get the complete set of 12 to be complete.
