Does a Husky 385XP need fuel kept in the fuel line to keep it from drying out and leaking. I like to run the fuel dry, maybe not agood idea.

Running it dry is a good idea if you're not using it regularly. It won't hurt it and leaving fuel in it over time the ethanol will start to eat up the lines and carb innards.

I concur with the above I hear ethanol kills fuel lines ,now that I have new saws I will only run non-ethanol . My saw guy said anything over 10% is no good luckily I had been at 8% per a fuel test sample . But no more ! gotta feed em what they like to eat !
