Hey guys I have not been here in a while, but I figured I would share a bit.

You can build this mill cheaply

using these plans (I used to sell the plans on Ebay by the way. $25.00 per pop.)

This is a pretty good design, and has severed me well over the years. I have built more than a few. The saw frame is awesome as are the guides.
I hope to see you guys around as I plan to start a new mill in the next few weeks.

P.S. Standard Linn shields should fit perfectly. Oh yeah, the mill pictured was a real monster of a mill. I don't remember the exact dimensions but it would cut any tree in my neck of the woods. I recommend you scale back the size to help keep costs low.

Do you have acrobat reader or some other program to open PDF files? You must have one to view a pdf file.  The standard is adobe acrobat, which is a free program, however I don't use that as it is a bloated intrusive program. I like Foxit reader. Once again, a free program but much smaller footprint on your computer.

Well you know what I mean! served!!

Do make sure you guys include shields in your design, the mill pictured once had a blade break and it tossed it at least 50 feet in the air, and 25-30 yards away.
