In europe it's almost two yaers that the trademark Tanaka does not more exists 'cause it's been incorporated by Hitachi that have changed the name on evey produts of Tanaka and nothing more. but today I've discovered that in your country, the USA, Tanaka still exists and alsa has new models on preparing like the tcs3301pcfs witch has an interesting design...does anybody tried this new models? are they allready on sale?

i have seen a few dealers offering them here but most will stick with a proven name like stihl or husky or makita its hard to get a old sawyer to jump on new stuff heck i was hesitant to even give makita a shot cause of all the  other well know brands are what i grew up using

makita's saws are Dolmar.
I'm speaking about Tanaka, that in europe was a glorious trademark, very used also by professionals, untill Hitachi bought it.
Now I realize also that the models between europe and Usa of Tanaka chainsaw are completely different...In Italy for example the biggest Tanaka was a 50cc...

The little top handle  Makita was a Tanaka brand on first model and cost $129 - $169.  The the later Makita top handle was Dolmar.
