Not sure what you mean by yearling, if it was born spring of 2012 (year and a half old) looks like bad genes, if it was born in 2013, then its better than any fawn I've seen.

"bad genes" from what perspective?  I'm confused.

Well, this chapter is closing. Some dreams are just that. A dream. We listed our U.P. property for sale today. Many things have created the decision to do so. With the death of my Brother in law, almost all my time up there is spent maintaining my Sister's property. I'm happy doing that. Hopefully she holds on to it for a long time so I still have a place to go.  We are quickly approaching a point of need of a newer vehicle, and Tammy is to retire after next school year. We take good care of our vehicles so they last, so we are hoping that we can sell quickly and achieve that goal.

Jeff, I know that this was not an easy decision to make and I also know that it was not a hastily made decision.  I wish for a speedy sale and the best to you and Tammy readying for her future retirement journey.  smiley_thumbsup

Hoping for a speedy sale, and best of luck. No need to hang on to it if the government won't let you build your place there the way you wanted it. Once it is sold, you'll probably be happy about it and just turn a new page. You have a nice place down in Harrison to enjoy after all. :)
