Does anyone have the instructions for a hand held chain breaker?  This tool looks like vice grips but you can break chain and spin on links.  Thanks...

first shirt, is that and ol military name, cause if it is you guys were reputed to know everything and be able to leap tall buildings, or was it a blade of grass, don't know much about chainbreakers, tried to use one once and ended up going to the saw shop, and gave the guy five bucks to fix the chain

They're not as easy as a bench breaker, roller setup but work alright when there's nothing better around. 
If your breaking a chain thats already in a loop, or need to take a rivet out the best thing to do is grind the head of the rivet off, then punch it the rest of the way through with the breaker. 
Then make your loop.  Put new rivet in, and tighten your spinning mechanism over the rivet. turn, till it gets easier, then tighten, and keep repeating that process.
Dont get the links too tight though it can be a real pain.

Roger that, I spent 20 years in the US Army and now live in the woods on 144 acres a stones throw from Kentucky lake.  What a wonderful life.
