Howdy

Being old and not able to work outside anymore, I have taken up pottery making.  Some of you may have seen a few of my pieces at the last Pig Roast, and it was a true pleasure to send them in my place.  While there was some breakage in shipping, a few items survived to give away to those attending.

This year I have been working on another bunch and will be shipping them once again.  My work ranges from mugs and small bowls to platters and large serving dishes.  Everything I make is dishwasher and microwave safe so anyone receiving one knows they are food safe.

Some folks carve wood, some turn items or are gifted cabinetmakers and I am sure we have many other kinds of hobbies or crafts we enjoy.  It would be fun to hear what makes your life more enjoyable.

Be it pottery, woodworking, or tool making the craftsmanship of members here never ceases to amaze me, very nice Howdy.  Do you sell your items?  I know my wife would love something like this and I'm always looking for something she'd consider "extra special" for a gift.  As far as hobbies go, I fish  ;D (not very well though, got out fished by a 2 year old on my birthday, it was her first time fishing and she was so proud of her new Scooby Doo fishing pole, my wife and I have never had more fun just watching her catch one after another with all 3' of that pole  :D) best fishing trip yet!

Nice looking mug!  The high school I went to had a huge art dept and a pretty big pottery studio, It was one of the most enjoyable classes I had.
