I was looking through my 16 year old issue this morning and on page 15 is listed Eight Sawmill Packages. Prices starting at $3,795 to $47,335. Where will they be in another 16 years? If I am still here and milling, I will be a ripe 93 going on 94!

I'm putting together my Norwood Mills 36v2 saw and it has these felt sweeper pads that run along the track. The instruction manual says to 'oil them regularly'...
I had an open jug of Rotella 5w40 synthetic I started soaking them in, but I'm thinking that's a bit pricey to use on the regular. Can I throw used (filtered) motor oil in there? Bar and Chain oil? Any old 30-weight will do? I'm guessing it doesn't HAVE to be the expensive synthetic I put in the tractor?Read More

I've been looking at repairing my current blade, it's been welded too many times, as well as replacing bushings but estimates have been pretty pricey. I have a chance to pick up a 440C blade in great condition. Everything lines up and fits the D but it's about a foot less wide and three inches less...
