Here is what we came up with.  We made it 16" wide at the base, adjusted the triangles to be more symmetrical and made the curved sides longer to attach at the top and bottom.

I like it.  But I guess with all that welding, they are going to cost a buck or two more than the others.   :D

Not sure how I missed this thread the first time around.  Really like the final version of the bench legs - goes well with the table legs.  The 12-12 version was too tipsy looking, whether it is tipsy or not!

I like the revised version.

My only comment is to slot the holes in the top where the slab attaches to allow for seasonal wood movement.
