They must have called it a 663 ,because it did'nt leave the factory as a log skidder. I wonder how many they made with that long wheelbase?

Not sure, there is a sticker for greasing on the cab showing a skidder. It also has a transfer case with a spot for the winch.

The clark at auction went for $17k, for a skidder that seemed as clean as any older skidder I've ever seen that seemed a decent price.  I see broken down jd440s offered for that.

I like the 666 or 667 with cummins in them or the 66F or 67F which was just a later built same machine but those machines now are well over 20 years old so if not taken care of it could end up pretty costly
