Quarter sawing redoak is probably one of the most rewarding experiences I have on the sawmill. I look in the big box stores and see flat sawn red oak selling of almost $7.00 / BF and I think to myself how can they get away with it, then I think what am I talking about , I'll sell you some for that price ??? :D :D 8)
