Negative messages?

I cleaned out my forum message inbox and it showed -3 messages.  I just deleted another and it shows -4.  Whats up ???  Never had a negative message indicator.  Will it go away on its own ???  ;D :)

That happenes some times when you are ticking the messages to be deleted, then going up and clicking delete all.  The only way for it to clear up is for someone to send you messages and then use the delete all link but DO NOT tick individual messages.
I can change my profile okay. No errors. If you can,t remove all the extra info in other fields and try.
