Yup, repeat customers bring home the bacon but this one is 166 miles away.  Today I will be getting everything ready.  This is a repeat customer that I sawed for back in March.  A whopping 332 mile round trip.  LINK.

I don't know if I could handle traveling that far!

Furthest I've gone on a sawjob is around 35 miles!

My farthest customer is also my biggest repeat customer. It's about 125 miles one way.  My next job is over 250 miles one way! He couldn't find anyone closer to him to do the job, after I recommended him to call Wood-Mizer.

Yes, repeat customers are great. As well as referrals!

I referred a sawjob to Chris Burchfield this morning.  It is NE of Memphis Tennessee, and about 280 miles one way, so that would be a bit far.

MM is the customer going to pay for meals and lodging again? If so, that's a decent gig.

I think that your wife should ride along and check out the customer's neighbors.  The motivation for such a long commute could easily be suspect, even if you are totally innocent.   Regards, Clark

Yes, he will provide meals and lodging, plus $1.00 per mile, one way one time for travel and setup.  (my charge is now $1.25, but this is a repeat customer)  The entire job, whatever it is will be hourly rate.
