I salvage subtropical timber in south florida and the keys ,
mahogany , lycaloma/ wild tamarind , jamaca dogwood etc .
also have some inventory left over of hardwood I cut in Africa years ago .
the salvage florida logs often include tramp metal ,
and the African timber pink ivory african blackwood etc is just plain hard ,
Seems I sometimes  spend about as much time sharpening and setting as i do sawing
I have compaired many blades ,and the Lennox wood master c  7/8 pitch 7 degree hook , 0.045 thick with 0.022 to .030 set is hard to beat right out of the box , problem is I need a cam for the lennox blade on my old Woodmizer  automatic drag style sharpener , any one fabricating custom cams ?
Runing a WM lt40 with the 35 hp cat .

POSTON WIDEHEAD

Magic, early Zombie posted in the wrong place. Later the whole thread was moved here. That's why Rooster's reply reads like it does.  :)

Oops, I see he did start a 2nd thread in the correct place.  :-[

I'll just lock this one and it can fall off the bottom on it's own accord.  ;)
