Was talking to the one boss today, they have 4 or 5 white oak at their church that should come down. He was wondering about getting someone to cut them down and can have the logs. About 48" dia.40 to 50' to the first branches.
The tree trimers want about $5000.00 to cut them down and chip the small stuff. He said they would rather pay $1000.00 and give the logs too. Is there a Peterson mill close to Montgomery Co. Md. That would be the way to go.I know there is no way I can handle logs that size.

Richard, try the Find a Sawyer service on the left side of this page. Also look at "service"  section on home page. Usually manufacturers have reference list  if you give them a call. State foresters can give you a referral also.
