Hi,
I've got an oldie for you. Husqvarna 162se carburetor removal. How do I get it off? Do I need to remove the cylinder? I don't see another way to get to the can bolts.
Trying to resurrect this nifty old saw. So far found the melted gas line, gooey, and no start. Changing filter, line, electrics etc. For $20 change the carb too, but haven't figured how to get it off without taking cylinder off?

Thx!

If it's like the other saws on that chassis, the carb is bolted on with the bolts thru the intake/filter mount...may require ball head Allen wrench for angles. Some go into the intake block and some thru to cylinder.
Machine and welding shop day job, trees after work.

Thank you. That did it after some force. I had them out before and it didn't want to budge, but it finally broke free.
