Currently my activities are severely curtailed, but here at the cabin is the best place for me to be forced to do nothing. I have windows and a screen porch and a camera at the pond. I witnessed something about as cool as cool from the window today.

I have never seen them do that, but the field below the house they have made some holes in the ground from doing that.

  When I saw this topic I thought you were talking about seasonings and that it belonged in the food thread. ffcheesy

    Another thing people don't think about with turkeys is they like to pick gravel to help grind seeds in their gizzards. Old time turkey feeders/baiters used to put out a bag of crushed oyster shells like you put out for chickens. Other wildlife like deer and squirrels and such would not bother it so it was good to target turkeys.
