Had 7 pounds of burger left over from last season so made summer sausage today
in the fridge now and will cook it tomorrow.
I have used LEM seasonings with good success from Bass Pro.
Stuffed by hand and would have used the grinder but easier to clean my hands and the casings  than the grinder for this small amount of meat.
I'll report after Saturday when the family gathers for our Christmas and they critique my efforts.
If they dont like it I will take it to our hunting, fishing atving  and snowmobile camp.
My pals drink enough beer that that they dont complain And of course I dont (drink beer) Liar Liar pants on fire
Kubota 8540 tractor, FEL bucket and forks, Farmi winch
Kubota 900 RTV
Polaris 570 Sportsman ATV
3 Huskies 1 gas Echo 1 cordless Echo vintage Homelite super xl12
57 acres of woodland

:D Let us know how it turns out, nothing better than summer sausage with cheese and a cold beer on a hot day.
old age and treachery will always overcome youth and enthusiasm
