Yep, Its true, I just opened my last stick of deer sausage.
I figured this will be the last game the rams play this season so I might as well. Now where did I put the crackers?
On the up side, 3 weeks and we will be stuffing some more. ;D
Although the belly button might be rubb'n the back bone by then, it's not that far away. Drink lotsa water and eat the crackers. Want some moose milk cheese with that? :D
Hey SD, gonna have to pass on that moose milk cheese, but hats off to the brave person that obtains the milk from the moose :D
I do beleive the only way my belly button will ever touch my back bone is if I happen to fall under something very large :o
Here's the milk pale, point your clicker here (https://forestryforum.com/cgi-bin/board/YaBB.pl?board=general;action=display;num=1101052114;start=0)
:D :D :D :D
You were certainly right about the Rams. A fan might need an adult beverage or two to wash the sausage and crackers down while watching that game.
Those of us who are Packer fans needed one or two with our cheese and crackers during their last game, too. :( :(
The only thing that kept me from crying in my vanilla coke was the fact, most rams fans knew the end was near...Then again most of us knew it at mid season. :D
Hey martz...Memorize this line
"Would you like fries with that"
:)
Super size me! :D :D
The Packers game was a sad one indeed. The Vikings game wasn't so hot either.
Say Kevin, would you mind shaing your deer sausage recipe?
Why I'd love to share the recipe, but I dont really know whats in it...
We buy the cure from a local meat market, it comes in bags and it is one bag to 50lbs of meat...
we cunk up the meat, 50/50 deer and pork, spread it out on a large table and mix the dry cure in by hand, add some minced garlic, (couple of hands full) and then grind twice.
it looks like we have about 3 days of grinding and stuffing this year.
Sorry patty, thats about the best I can do.
