just wanted to publicly thank dan henry for building such a great saw. i got it yesterday and have run 6 tanks thru it, and it gets stronger on every tank. buried bar deep in dead elm i could not get it to bog at all, and i pretty much cut circles around my buddy with his 044. very nice work, dan.
the only thing i think dolmar could improve on this would be a clear fuel tank, and im a bit leary of breaking the choke lever off.
great saw, dan. thanks!

Hi
I am glad that you like your saw. I have built a few of those 73cc saws but have built more of the 79s. Everyone seems to overlook the 73 and it doesn't get the recognition that it deserves.
I also ran a few tanks of fuel through that saw and I know that it works well. If you ran 6 tanks through it in one day, you are a better man then I am. LOL They hold a lot of fuel.
I have asked my sales Rep. about the possibility of a transparent tank but I haven't heard of any plans to produce them. The choke lever hasn't been an issue on that series of saws.

I just got in a Dolmar 7900 for a friend (and DozerDan Fan) to try out. Gonna give ita run tomorrow.
Captain.
i defenetly have not been able to use it as much as i like with this broken rib, but im still getting to run it daily. after getting used to shuttting/whacking the choke lever off, she seems to be very sturdy. the oiler is working fine, i know ben walker had some problems with his. id like to run this saw with an 066.
Dozer, what do you charge to woods mod a new 7900? BB
