I have 25 acres of predominantly hemlock, sugar maple, and some red oak. Adelgid showed up a few years ago. How many years have I got to get my hemlock out of the woods? I'm 68, working with a pto winch. I haven't seen any of the white stuff under the needles in the last 3 years. Will I get the hemlock out before I'm too old to work in the woods?
I have some patches of hemlock that is fine. Some patches not so fine. Just never know.
It took out ALL mine. Sad because some of mine were ready nice, 20'+.
