Hi everybody.
Well, my generator set is on it's way out i think. The 6-71 overheats. Has clunking noises etc.
I have a big diesel v8. 270 din hp. 11 liters. Only 109 hours.
But the alternator is a single bearing. So adapting the thing on the new motor is complicated.
Has anybody seen a single bearing alternator transformed into a dual bearing, with a new bell end?
Thanks a lot.
Max.
