Title: Roller guide bracket have holes?
Post by: CCCLLC on September 23, 2018, 04:03:13 PM
My roller guide brackets have "collars" that are in line but behind the band. What are they for? Maybe something on the lt70 but not needed on my lt40? Factory alinement? Thanks

If you're talking about the flange on the back edge of the rollers, they are what your band is riding against while sawing!

They keep the band from being pushed off the back edge of the rollers!

Thanks Chuck, I should've given better details. This are 1/2" diameter holes in the brackets holding the rollers. Look like a 1/2" wooden dowel would fit perfectly. Just saying that as an observation, wouldn't really do that. But they look important for a possible mount for something my mill doesn't have. I have acculube installed and they don't go with that. Not important but they look important. LOL.
