Do any of you have a Green Works 40 volt saw? What's your opinions? I have their lawn mower and a pole saw that are 40 volt and they all use the same battery a nice option I think.
No familiarity, but using the same battery would mitigate a lot of deficiencies for me. As long as it wasn't absolute junk, I'd get one even if were technically inferior to the competition. If you're happy with the other tools, I suspect you'd be happy enough with the chainsaw.
I have the blower, rototiller and the hedge trimmer. I like them.
I ran one for about 10 minutes, belongs to a friend that likes it and it worked fine for me although it really was only 10 minutes or so. The friend that has it was mostly just showing it to me so I wacked up a few branches about 6" tops. He tried 2 different ones and liked the 14" model.
I've got two old Milwaukee corded 110v chainsaws with 20" bars, 3/8 chain, and 110v in my mill. When I wear them out I'll go cordless, not holding my breath till that happens. Frank C.
