Well I have done it again.
I was healing well from my mishap and the doc gave me a script for physical therapy yesterday.
Last evening after supper I went to my garage to check the freezer for Ice cream.
I was barefoot and slipped on the smooth concrete floor doing a split.
I writhed in pain and managed to get up and back into the house.
Now I am in more pain than after the original accident.
Tylenol doesnt touch the pain and i have called my doc and am awaiting his return call.
If it weren't for bad luck etc etc etc.
Too soon old and too late smart.
DanG it Pete!
Sometimes it's the simple things that get us.
Get healed!
See! The whackos are right. Ice cream isn't good for you. You are VERY lucky. You could have been killed.
Soory to hear about that.
I have a wife that can and does trip walking across the living room floor.
Pete,
Darn that makes my back hurt just thinking about it. You take care of yourself and follow the Dr's orders. I always say a guy should keep the ice cream to the house freezer too!
Gee Pete, Opening day of "Rifle" deer season is tomorrow!
You need to get yourself in shape so you can at least sit on the back porch of DeGrasse Camp!
Get well soon Pete! ;)
Thanks for the well wishes.
Chuck, no hunting for me until second week in Nov.
Heading to DC next week to meet friends for a weeks getaway.
He was a guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier in 1959 - 60.
The former guards have a reunion every two years.
It is a good time and we see a lot of the sights.
BTW the bull crap you see on the internet about the former tomb guards not being allowed to swear or drink is just that, crap as the cocktail hr before the formal banquet is full of some blue words and plenty of booze.
