I was fortunate enough to be invited on a moose hunt again this year. My buddys wife had her license We got a small bull on day 4 of the hunt. Had 3 points on one side and looked like a muskox horn on the other. Only 475 pounds hanging at the butcher but probably the best moose meat I've ever had. Great times with great friends.

That should be some good eating! Congratulations to all!
Nice! Our moose season was shut down a few years back as the population has been dropping. Most likely cause is too many whitetails moving into the moose range, and they carry disease that is deadly to the moose. It's nice to be able to take an animal like an elk or moose where you really get a large amount of meat!
Good for you. My stepson got one just about the same size. That's alot of meat.
congrats.
Looks a lot like the small bull I shot in Newf in 1998.
My wife called him the milk on his mouth moose.
Small but delicious, better than the 2 cows I got in the 90s also.
