There was a thread we did way back a decade ago before doing the video's...that really dug into the details. Tried but couldn't find it...:( So those two are summaries...the one Bob and I did has good details if you have the patience to watch the later part. We also did one blending 272 with the Jonsered 670 and blended the different "pulse" configurations...I'll see if I can find that one as well. Its been a while! Maybe time for a "redux" on those 200's....

nice video there , i got an old greytop 61 a long time ago , and eventually took it apart to do some resto on it and the piston ring land was a bit wide on the exhaust side so took the piston to a husky dealer and said do you have a 61 piston in stock , he replied i do but thats not it , i said yeah it is it s a1985 grey top 61 twin coil , he said no thats a 266xp piston and he measured it and said yip it s a 266 ,50mm single ring windowed piston , that whole topend will fit right onto a 61 chassis , must have been done by someone , hmmm ok do you have one , said yeah i do , went and got it and bought it , checked the cylinder and looked it up and it was a 266xp top end on it , and different manifold block and carb and intake and airfilter , did wonder why it run like a beast  :D ;D

Yeah 61s are like a chevy 305.  What'll fit on top it?  Practically anything you want..  Is there a saw part that wont fit on it?  You can get lost in all the combos you can put on a 61 case if you have a few buckets of dead large bar huskys.  I bolt stuff on em that i dont even know what it came from or where i got it.  If it fits it ships chips!
