Been wanting to build something for my daughter since before she was born. Finally got around to finishing a small table for her a few months ago. I'm still a beginner but I believe it came out ok. Finished with a couple coats of tung and topped off with a few coats of poly.

Sweet. Thought about selling them? Something like that would go down a treat with the local Kindergartens, and you market the untreated, locally sourced wood side of it.

Thanks everyone! I have thought about selling these but it'll be a bit as I'm trying to get my part time saw business going. I have drawn it up in sketchup so I have all my dimensions, but plan on making some variations of it.

Very nice!

Please consider knocking the corners off the table top, they look rather pointy in the picture.

Thanks, yeah that's definitely something I will be doin. That's something that also scares me a bit when going to sell these things. Were can I find the legal guidelines for building childrens furniture? I found some but I'm not sure if they Re the correct guidelines to be following. Found them after the build. Goes over toxicity/sharp edges/etc.

No woodwork or sawing. I am trying to put up a 36 x 80 shop for air drying and to store some equipment. Going really slow as I'm a one man army and I'm trying to poor boy it and why I haven't been on here in awhile. All my log sources bailed on me so I got with some local developers and said they'd give me a few small land clearing jobs they have coming up. Got the equipment to do it now but trying to save for a track steer. Plus many other projects.... been busy! Sorry I haven't been on here in awhile.
