I hope this is in the right place. I want to start by thanking everyone for all the years of knowledge that is posted here. I have learned so much. I was wondering who you are using to have advertising materials made? Shirts, hoodies, stickers, and cards. There must be 1000+ choices on google, but I'm looking for someone that has been used and can be vouched for. While price is important I don't mind paying for good work. Thanks for any help in advance.
I typically get Staples to make my business cards and find their prices competitive and work satisfactory but my card is pretty simple with just text on the front and an International 1/4" Log Scale on the back.
My wife makes my hats and shirts with an embroidery program that hooks to her sewing machine. I had a magnetic door sign on my truck for a year or so but the last 2 times I tried they blew off.
I make half page flyers on my computer and print and post them in local country stores and likely places and keep a small ad in a local trader paper which works pretty well for my targeted audience. I recently put an ad on Craigslist and have gotten a couple of responses but no sales from it yet.
I use local shops for our shirts, hats and other stuff. I hand pick the best quality merchandise and I wear them myself. I want our hats and shirts to be people's favorite clothing items. That way they get worn, not stuffed in the bottom drawer.
We sell camo hats and blaze orange hats with our logo during hunting season.
Every piece of new shirt, jacket, hoodie or even rain gear I own gets our emblem, wearing them around town gets an amazing amount of brand regognition.
Vista print for business cards
For my avn side business, i use avery.com for my cards since i use the sticky back paper for logbook entries. Once i get my mill going, if i choose PR attire, ill go through a local business by the house for embroidery work and send any screen printing to a friend i used to work with in vancouver, wa.
Business cards, company brochures - Vista Print, although it seems their prices have gone up recently and at least the brochure business may be going elsewhere. Local sign shop for banners and magnetic door signs, truck stencils, etc.
I use a lot of logo wear, my wife sometimes comments if she sees wearing something without my logo on it. I have had hats and t-shirts printed. Jackets, polos, sweatshirts, sweaters done by a small local embroidery shop (1 person), very reasonable. Just got my first order of t-shirts from a new local shop. I always wear logo wear on jobs, give out a few to relatives, people who come out to help with videos, etc. This time I even bought enough to sell. :)
