Title: Dump trailers
Post by: Ranch41 on March 11, 2019, 02:41:47 PM
I have narrowed my search down to a gooseneck, 14', 14K dump trailer, dual batteries, combo gates, and 7k tandem axles.  My only issue is which lift system is best, dual ram or scissor?

have only ever seen dual ram trailers, I would think a ram on each side of the box would help prevent twisting with an uneven load...assuming the scissor is only in the middle??

My 20K PJ dump has dual rams and a scissor lift.  They make a great trailer.

I have a PJ with a scissor hoist. It's a well built trailer, except the paint is absolute garbage.
