My grandpa owns another 4501, except his has the Ford engine with the Ford system. GREAT Forwarders!

Looking good👍
I could use something like that.
These machines have carried out a lot of wood over the years and still going strong. There are several still in use around here.
That's a dandy machine smiley_thumbsup

Very Cool !! Great to see the old iron still pluggin away.
A lot of Ol' Mule pictures in the Timber Harvest & Equipment Thread.
Nice they are very handy machines
They are handy. Tough ol machines. A few left around here.
Met a man who used one in his sawmill yard, even loaded the log deck with it.
Bought one of those in 1982 new from Ison Equip in Monico, WI. It was a great skidder with the 3 cyl Perkins. Ran all day and I think you had to work hard to get it to use more than 6-8 gal of fuel day
Remember the Mules from Davis at Monticello Ark. mid to late 70's. Worked one summer spraying 245-T killing hardwood and they had one rigged up. Didn't work as good as the Pettbone. Had a couple loggers running them till the paper mills went to tree length here in Texas.
