Bought skidder with reverse out , put everything in transmission except the reverse clutch drum, still reverse just let's go , when I got machine it wouldn't move in reverse the clutches were burnt up, it will move in reverse now but when I put it in a strain in 2nd it will let go , it does it in 1st also but you can't tell it as bad,any ideas
You need to monitor the pressure when reverse slips out. Did you replace the piston seals in the reverse clutch as well. If it has a factory transmission pump guage they didnot work well for diagnostics because they are orficed and don't show spikes and fluctuations well. Must remove the orfice and tap in there
