I had some antique furniture in an enclosed trailer that got soaked. Not leaked on but the vents got blocked and everything is really damp all the way thru. The pieces I'm concerned about are walnut.
I'm guessing I need to dry them slowly to have the best chance of them not warping. Is inside a shed slow enough or should I try to wrap them in plastic with small vents or should I just give up ???
Thanks
Inside a shed sounds like the way to go. If it is an enclosed shed, you could place a box fan about 8' away blowing away from the stack to just keep the air moving a little bit without directly blowing it on the furniture.
