Title: Four logs that didn’t make it to the mill
Post by: Crossroads on April 11, 2019, 11:40:53 PM
Between the thaw and the rains, the driveway has been a train wreck. I've hauled about 20 loads of rock in the last 2 weeks and now a spring has started flowing across the road. Maybe this summer these logs will get dug up and pressure washed then milled, or this may be their final resting place.

Maybe box in that spring so you can use it and direct it next year?

The mini excavator (especially with the back fill blade) sure came in handy!  smiley_thumbsup

What a mess.

Yep, the mini has been earning its keep on the driveway chores.

We had a well drilled last fall, but didn't get the pump in before the weather hit. If all goes as planned, I'll deep six the pump tomorrow and won't have to haul water from town any more.

A mess pretty much sums it up lol, but it's getting better 👍🏻

I think that you handled that situation quite nicely.  Redneck engineering is alive and well in Idaho.  thumbs-up

I still have 2 sections of road that I'll have to ditch and put in "culverts", them I should be able to get my mill back into my property and finish milling the siding for the shop.
