I started this shed last fall when I has the Logosol. After I used the LT 40 over the winter I decided to move it to a spot with more room.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cz_1geshNzo (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cz_1geshNzo)
I cleared and leveled the spot and moved the shed base over to it's new home. The shed is 8X8 and I am going to build a 32 ft shed off it to cover the mill.
Looking good! Anxious too see the progress.

Started to put the floor down. This is the first lumber used from the new Woodmizer.

Finished the floor. First time I used the generator this year so of course I had to clean some gunk from the carb! This generator belonged to my mother in law and sat for a long time,I cleaned the carb last year and filled it with treated non ethanol but there must be some gunk in the tank. If it doesn't rain tomorrow I'll start to frame the walls after work.
Never have enough sheds. :D
No, you can't!

Rafters on. I'll have to fire up the LT 40 to cut some long siding boards.
Looking Good! 8)
But isn't it a little small for your LT40 ...
Looking good! Love the music in your videos!

Yes. This is to store the blades, etc. and maybe a future planer. I am going to build a pole barn roof off the front of it to keep the mill under.
got the braces in.
roof boards on. Don't you just love that rough cut lumber!

Tar paper and drip edge on. Siding on ends and door jams in.

Took some time off from my day job to work on the shed. Finished the siding. Today I am going to build the doors. Tomorrow the shingles. Everyone have a nice forth of July Weekend.
Looking good Rich, I wish I could have gone 8x8 with mine, but I just didn't have the space. Covering the mill for me is also a challenge due to terrain. Looks like you are doing a fine job. Mine was done in a rush, trying to beat the winter weather, still needs battens, but working well and dry as a bone inside.

Double doors on entry side. Need to trim and install the hinges. The heat beat me out today. Have a great Independence Day weekend!

New Woodmizer tool in the sawmill shed. Trim , battens and inside shelving and it will be finished. Then I'll strat the addition to cover the mill.
Looks great

Thanks. I'd like to tackle some timber frame like yours someday when I have the time.
Also I had some slightly wavy pine with the 7 carbide. The blade still seemed sharp. I have about 50 hrs on the mill so I am going to check the drive belt tension.

Changed the oil and filter, tightened the belts and moved her to her new home today. Has 56 hours on it.

And a place for the blades.
Looks great. Did you dry the lumber first or put it up green?

Thanks. It was stacked and stickered for a few months. There is some shrinkage after it's up in the hot sun. I'll wait a few weeks to put on the battens.
Looks really nice!
If the blades are sharpened ones could you add a strip of wood to top of brackets to protect tips of teeth? What will you finish it with or will you leave it natural?
Look forward to your shed build.

Thanks. I like a ceder colored stain or Australian timber oil. The blades tips are o.k. on there.
