Title: My Post and Beam build

After a couple years of cutting, drying, and finishing my timbers we finally started building. We will update as we go, and thanks for looking.

This is where we ended Sunday. Things are going a bit faster than we expected seeing how we are doing it all without power equipment.

Looks great so far, could you give more info on the structure? Size, style, design (did you develop yourself or did you purchase plans?).

Thanks, it is going to be 28x40' with a covered deck off the front that wraps around one side. I came up with how I wanted it to look, and worked with an engineer with the company that makes the connectors to come up with the beam sizes and cut list.
