Title: What is this?

My mom send me this picture of a tree that was planted in a park. She wants to know what it is? Its planted in central lower Michigan. Any ideas?

A basswood, I believe.

She sent me a picture of the flowers and I believe you are correct it is basswood. Doesn't look like the the BW that grows UP here but it looks like pictures in the books.
