I tricked my kids into putting a log on the mill for me, man I have to get the tractor back.

If your kids are like mine, they have a few tricks to show you in the next few years. Try to keep smiling, they will be the ones who choose your nursing home.

Yes and yes. My oldest went from more responsible than many adults I know at 14, then somewhere along the line the "stupid switch" as my wife calls it got turned on. Pulled out a lot of hair. I always ascribed that to bad parenting previously, humble pie has been eaten. Hopefully I don't need seconds😊 It's always good working with the kids around the mill, firewood, etc. My kids help out a lot with our little bundled firewood business, it's treasured times for me, and I hope they look back on it and feel the same someday.
