Is it possible to get a replacement key for my 2010 Kohler 25 hp on my LT28?

That key is probably used in many Kohler engines. Most any small engine or lawn mower shop can probably help you

Yes, they are all the same, my 35 key fits my edger and they were different year models.

That would only happen to me once and the tumblers would be gone.

Suggestion:  When you get a key, make a copy and stash it somewhere on the sawmill.  I have two spare keys that have been stashed on my mill since shortly after I bought it.  Only forgot the key at the house once, but the spare saved a return trip. ;)
