Title: The beechnuts are ripening
Post by: SwampDonkey on August 31, 2019, 04:31:51 PM
This beech is in the back yard. It is around 30 feet tall and covered in beechnuts from the lower limbs to the top ones, pretty much as abundant as this one limb on the bottom.

The blue jays and squirrels will be busy, especially the blue jays. :D

Yep, the trees are starting to turn up here. No water at all in July and scant in August.
