This winter while the mine was shut down and most of us were laid off, I bought and assembled a Stihl 660 clone kit. It was a blast so I also got a 070 kit that I'm collecting parts for so I can build an 090 out of it. I first ordered a complete 070 which I use for chainsaw milling. The thing starts and runs as reliably as any one of my vintage Jonsered 451 saws.

Anyway, I hadn't been on the Hutzl website for a while and recently looked. Everything (kit wise) is shown as out of stock. Does anyone know why, or what's going on?

I think there is a facebook group for farmer tech or otherwise connected to those chinese clone saws. Someone there might know.
