Title: My WM Power Feed Dilema & Solution!
Post by: WeeksvilleWoodWorx on March 05, 2005, 12:02:03 PM
I've read a few threads in the last couple of months about feed problems, erratic feed etc... Started having problems myself, thought head was slowing/ stopping in same place. Also noticed it was only happening when it was cold ( well, cold for a southerner ;D ). Then Thursday I figured it out. When it's cold out I put Jersey Liners in my gloves.... I was pushing on the speed control pot causing the feed to stop! Didn't realize I was pushing with all the gloves on. I'm surmizing the cold temperature is causing the contacts in the pot to contract and along with the pressure I was putting on it it was making and breaking contact. I have tried pushing on it when warmer and it takes significantly more pressure to cause problems!

Just thought I would pass this along to maybe save somebody else some aggravation.
