I wonder what the long term effects of exposure to chromium oxide are when used regularly such as in honing compounds to sharpen tools. I'm sure it's not something we think about very much. Here is what I've found so far, and from it I gather that we shouldn't breath it, eat it, or leave it on our skin extensively.
